(KRON) -- Target is looking to hire 2,000 seasonal workers in the Bay Area ahead of the holiday shopping rush. Among the jobs available are cashier, general merchandise, fulfillment, food and beverage, cart attendant, style, tech, and stocking.

Pay varies depending on city; for example, the jobs in San Francisco are listed at $21.50 an hour, while the jobs in Novato are listed at $20.50 an hour, and jobs in Walnut Creek are listed at $20.00 an hour.
Target employees also get a 10% discount on merchandise and 20% off some Target owned-brand products. According to the company website, pre-recorded video and online interviews will be used for in-store positions.
Target said more than half of last year's seasonal hires ended up staying with the company after the holidays ended.
